Return Policy

Jackery offers a 30-day return policy,
starting from the date you receive your order, for products purchased directly
from the Jackery website and Jackery’s Amazon Store. Customers who purchased
from retailers or channels other than the Jackery website or Jackery Amazon
store and wish to return their product for a refund should first review the
return and refund policy of the respective retailer. For further questions or
assistance, please contact our customer support team at info@ecopowerit.com and
provide your order details. Products that are custom-configured or branded to
your specifications are not eligible for return.

You can initiate the return by reaching out to our customer support team at info@ecopowerit.com,
and provide your order information and reason for return. Please do not ship
the return items to us without initiating the return.

Returns for Refunds

We are confident that you will love your new Jackery product. However, if you
are unsatisfied for any reason, Jackery offers a 30-day return policy, starting
from the date you receive your order, for products purchased directly from the
Jackery website and Jackery’s Amazon Store. There are a few important things to
keep in mind when returning a Jackery product:

1. Customers who purchased from retailers or channels other than the
Jackery website or Jackery Amazon store and wish to return their product for a
refund should first review the return and refund policy of the respective
retailer. For further questions or assistance, please contact our customer
support team at info@ecopowerit.com and provide your order details.

2. Products that are custom-configured or branded to your specifications
are not eligible for return.

3. To initiate the return, please reach out to our customer support team
at info@ecopowerit.com, and provide your order information and reason for
return. Once your return request is processed, we will provide you with a
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. When you ship out the return
package, please be sure to write the RMA number clearly on the shipping label
on the outside of the package. Do not write the RMA number on the actual box.
Packages without an RMA number on the return shipping label will not be
accepted by our warehouse.

4. Please ensure that the item you are returning is in its original
condition. For items returned not in their original condition, a restocking fee
will be applied and deducted from the refund amount. Please refer to the fourth
section, titled 'Return/Replacement Shipping Requirements,' for additional
details on the return shipping steps.

5. Jackery will cover the shipping cost for returns for the following
reasons: defect product, delayed shipping, or damaged package. For returns due
to all other reasons, return shipping and handling fees will be deducted from
the refund amount.

6. In order to avoid any trouble caused by the package when you return it,
it is recommended that you keep the original packaging for at least 30 days.

7. Once Jackery receives your item, a refund will be processed within 10
business days. The refund will be processed through your original payment
method. It may take some time before your refund is posted on your bank account
or credit card statement. If you haven't received a refund within this period,
please first check your credit card transaction or bank account again. For
refunds to credit cards, please allow an extra 7-10 business days for a credit
to appear on your credit card statement. Thereafter, please contact your bank
and credit card company to verify whether the refund has been received. If you
have done all these and still have not received our refund, please contact as
at mailto:info@ecopowerit.com

Replacement Policy

Jackery will not be responsible for any lost packages shipped
using a previously used return label.

FedEx, UPS, or USPS may initially accept a package
with a duplicate or previously used return label when dropped off. However, the
package is likely to be stopped and discarded by the carrier during transit.
Tracking may show the package as delivered when, in reality, it was never
actually delivered.

Please ensure to follow the below return shipping
requirements

1. Jackery provides free return shipping
labels for RMA returns—one package per label. Please ensure the correct label
is placed on the corresponding box by referring to the shipping weight printed
on each label. Each shipping label is intended for one-time use on a single
package.

2. Securely package your return items in the
original packaging and shipping box to prevent damage during transportation.

3. Include all parts, accessories, and
documentation in the package.

4. Write the Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) number provided to you by us clearly on the shipping label on the outside
of the return package. Do not write the RMA number on the actual box. Packages
without an RMA number on the return shipping label may not be accepted by our
warehouse.

5. Ship the unit within 15 days of receiving
Jackery’s RMA.

6. For Amazon customers, the Amazon
Authorized Return slip with a barcode is not a shipping label. You must contact
Jackery’s customer support team at info @ecopowerit.com to
obtain an RMA number from Jackery, and we will send you a Jackery prepaid
return label.

FAQ

Which portable power stations can the Smart Transfer Switch connect to?

It can connect to the Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus, with support for up to 2 units simultaneously.

What are the power requirements for the Smart Transfer Switch?

It requires split-phase 240V input and supports 120V 60Hz and split-phase 240V 60Hz output. Three-phase power is not supported.

What appliances can the Smart Transfer Switch connect to?

The Smart Transfer Switch can connect to 120V and split-phase 240V circuits in a home's sub-panel. Professional electricians must handle the installation. Each circuit can support appliances up to 240V/30A and 7200W. A maximum of 12 circuits for 120V or 6 circuits for 240V can be connected simultaneously. Both 120V and 240V circuits can be connected at the same time.

What are the installation requirements for the Smart Transfer Switch?

The Smart Transfer Switch is not waterproof and must be installed indoors or in a location protected from rain.

Does the Smart Transfer Switch have grid-tie functionality?

The Smart Transfer Switch cannot input energy from portable power station or solar into the grid.

Can the Smart Transfer Switch connect to rooftop solar panels?

The Smart Transfer Switch cannot directly connect to rooftop solar panels. However, solar panels can be connected to the 5000 Plus, which can then connect to the Smart Transfer Switch to provide solar power for the home.

What if my home is already connected to a solar system?

If your home's electricity distribution panel is connected to rooftop solar through an inverter with a dedicated circuit breaker (AC-coupled), it is compatible with the Smart Transfer Switch. Note that in case of a grid outage, AC-coupled systems will also stop functioning, as they depend on grid signals. When the grid is operational, the solar generator can power the Smart Transfer Switch.

How many amps do the breakers on each Smart Transfer Switch circuit support?

Each circuit breaker supports up to 30A.

Why does it take longer to switch to portable power station during a power outage?

Either the UPS function is not enabled in the app, or the portable power station is charging. Without UPS enabled, the switch-over time is approximately 5 seconds when grid power fails.

How can I achieve a 20ms UPS switch?

Enable the UPS function in the Jackery App. When the grid power fails, the switch to a portable power station will occur within 20ms. If the portable power station is charging when a power outage occurs, the switch-over time will be approximately 1 second.

How can I save on electricity coSmart Transfer Switch using peak and off-peak rates?

Set the "Charging-discharging plan" in the Jackery App's working modes. Configure the charging and discharging times based on peak and off-peak electricity rates.

How can I use rooftop solar to power my home and save on electricity coSmart Transfer Switch?

First, connect the rooftop solar panels to the Explorer 5000 Plus. Then, set the working modes in the Jackery App to "Self-powered" mode. In this mode, a portable power station charges exclusively with solar power and automatically powers the home when fully charged. If the storage level falls below the backup threshold, it will switch to grid power for home supply.

How can I extend backup time for critical loads?

In the Jackery App, move non-critical load circuits to the "Nice to have circuits" group under "Backup priority." When the energy level falls below the set threshold, non-critical loads will automatically shut off, reserving more energy for critical loads.

Why do some circuits not have power after the mains power is restored?

After the mains power is restored, the circuits that were disconnected based on backup power priority during the outage will not be automatically turned on to reduce the risk of electric shock. Customers need to manually turn on the disconnected circuits.
