    Power Runs Out Too Quickly

    1. Check if there are external high-power electrical appliances. For example, if the total power of a connected device is about 1200W, the 1260Wh battery of DELTA mini will generally run out in about 1 hour. 2. Perform 3 fully charging and discharging rounds to see if the problem still occurs.

    Electrical Appliances Won't Charge

    1. If DELTA is charging from an AC outlet, confirm that the AC switch is turned on. The same goes for DC outlets. 2. If the AC or DC switch is turned on and it still cannot be charged, confirm whether the output power of DELTA meets the rated wattage of the electrical appliance. 3. When the power from a DC source or car charger is less than 1 watt, the charging power will not be displayed, but the unit is charging. Try charging from another power source to see if the charging power is displayed. 4. When the screen displays an overload alarm, the charging power is too high. Shut down and allow the unit to cool down for 30 minutes, or try using a low-power device before charging again. If there is still an overload prompt, take a photo or video of the issue and contact the after-sales department) 5. The AC switch will automatically turn off after 12 hours if the power of the electrical appliance is less than 10W because the power detection is equivalent to zero power output.

Once you have confirmed that is not the problem, restart the machine and charge again. 2. If the overload still occurs, please contact support.eu@ecoflow.com

    Using DELTA in EPS Mode

DELTA supports EPS (Emergency Power Supply). When DELTA is plugged into the grid to charge using AC, any load plugged into the DELTA will be directly powered from the grid and not DELTA. If there is a power outage, DELTA automatically switches to its battery supply mode within 30 milliseconds. Any device plugged into the DELTA will have no power for 30 milliseconds, making it unsuitable for desktop computers or data servers which must be reconnected to power within 0 milliseconds (UPS). UPS is unnecessary for all devices, and we advise testing yourself before using the EPS function. It is recommended that only one device is plugged into DELTA to avoid overloading.

    Electromagnetic interference

The use of communication equipment or equipment with electromagnetic interference, such as walkie-talkies and electromagnetic wave generators, will disrupt the power supply. You can use an extension cord to extend it a little bit and use it at a longer distance.

Can Other Solar Panel Brands Charge DELTA?

DELTA can be charged using any solar panels with the same solar connectors and within an input range of 400W 10-65V DC 10A.

Using other products to charge Delta

In addition to charging from the grid, car, and solar, other sources such as generators and inverters can also be used if they output 220–240V (50Hz/60Hz) of sine wave AC power. When charging DELTA, the AC input power needs to be greater than 1500W to enable X-Stream function.

Is Dual Charging (AC and Car Charger) Supported?

DELTA only allows one charging method at a time.

    Using EPS Mode

1.In EPS mode, the DELTA uses the by-pass function. The DELTA connects to the grid and receives direct AC charging, and the load device directly uses the AC power from the grid. DELTA acts as a pass-through unit. 2. In EPS mode, when the battery has between 97% and 100% power, the AC input will not charge the battery. When the power is below 97%, the AC input will be used as a by-pass output and also charges the battery.

    DELTA Maintenance and Storage

    Solar Panels Won't Work

    1. The solar panel should be placed outdoors. Placing indoors will affect functionality. 2. Check for errors on the LCD Screen and follow the prompt to solve the problem if one exists. 3. Check the connection by removing and reconnecting the cable. 4. Only solar panels with a 11-65V input and DC 10A max current can be connected in parallel. Check if the voltage and current of the connected solar panels are within the range and whether the positive and negative poles are connected correctly. 5. If using a third-party connection cable, the cable length should not exceed 3m. If it is longer than 3m, change it to one with a diameter of 6.5 mm and a wire diameter of 4 mm². 6. Try charging the unit with a car charger. If it works, the solar panel has a connection issue or other problem. If the car charger doesn’t work either, please record a video and send it to support.eu@ecoflow.com for troubleshooting.

Solar Panel Charging Power is Low

If the connected solar panel is standard, the charging power is affected by the light intensity and angle: 1. Place the panels from 9:00 to 15:00 when the sun is at its strongest. Avoid using solar panels on cloudy days or in the shade. 2. The solar panel needs to be placed at an angle of 90° to the sunlight to get the most solar energy. 3. Check to see if Quiet Charging is on in the EcoFlow app.

    Short standby time

    1. Check the temperature of your environment. If it is in a low-temperature setting, place it somewhere at room temperature. 2. Perform a complete charge and discharge.

    Charging a Car Battery

When the car is out of power, you can use a dedicated jumper cable to charge the battery in around 15-20 minutes. Jumper cables are sold separately from a third party. (Note: When charging, do not start the car otherwise, it will cause the battery to malfunction)

Using Solar panels in Series and Parallel

To charge DELTA using multiple solar panels, ensure that the panels are in a series or parallel connection and that the voltage and current are 10-65W DC 10A. It is not recommended to use solar panels with different wattages.

Does it support charging while using?

Yes, DELTA supports charging and discharging while charging from vehicles, solar panels, etc. However, when the unit's battery is low or about to run out, it is best not to use it while connecting to DC charging (solar/vehicle charging). If the input is less than or equal to the output power, the device will continue to consume power, which may result in power loss and eventually damage the battery.

How many portable solar panels can I hook up to it?

DELTA mini’s technical specs for solar input are: 300W, 11–75V DC, 10A max. In practical terms, you can connect multiple portable solar panels in series (i.e., connecting one panel directly to the next) as long as their combined open circuit voltage doesn’t go over 75V.

Will it recharge from third-party portable solar panels?

Yes, DELTA mini is compatible with portable solar panels that are 10–75V DC, 10A max and that have solar connectors. We recommend using portable solar panels that have a combined wattage of around 300W.

Can I use DELTA mini while it’s charging?

Yes, it can discharge while it’s recharging from an AC input, car outlet, or portable solar panel.

Can I use it as a solar generator?

Yes, DELTA mini can be charged from portable solar panels, which is how many people understand solar generators. Call it what you will, but we prefer the term portable power station because DELTA mini doesn’t generate energy internally. As part of a portable solar panel kit, solar energy will be generated, so calling it a solar generator also works.

What is the difference between DELTA mini and DELTA?

DELTA mini is lighter and smaller, and DELTA has a larger battery capacity (882Wh vs 1260Wh) and power output (1400W vs 1800W). The ability to charge from portable solar panels, vehicles, and wall outlets is the same. Upgrades we gave DELTA mini are support for the EcoFlow app and X-Boost, which lets you power some 2200W appliances.

Can I jump my car battery with it?

You can! With our special accessory (coming soon), DELTA mini will double as a portable battery booster.

    How long does it last?

All rechargeable batteries lose capacity over time but how fast depends on the battery. In ideal conditions, DELTA mini’s battery will have 80% health after 800 cycles; most phone batteries and portable power stations reach 80% health after only 500 cycles.

What is the difference between DELTA mini and RIVER mini?

While both draw inspiration from bigger models, the two are quite different. DELTA mini’s 882Wh capacity and 1400W output make it ideal for powering multiple power tools, special equipment, and home electronics at once. RIVER mini has less capacity and output because it’s much smaller and much lighter.

    What is X-Boost?

X-Boost is an EcoFlow technology that lets you power an appliance with a wattage above the portable power station’s normal output. In this case, DELTA mini can power electronics totaling 1400W without X-Boost, but with this feature enabled, you can power electronics totaling 2200W. X-Boost is not for everything, especially not sensitive devices. We recommend using it for things with a heating element that you don’t mind working at a slightly lower temperature.

Can I use all of the wall-outlet sockets at once?

Sure! But make sure the combined wattage of your electronics doesn’t go over 1400W unless you want to use X-Boost.

Can I connect two DELTA mini’s together?

You can recharge one DELTA mini with another, but both units will use up some energy in the recharging process. You’ll save battery capacity if they’re not linked.

Can I use the extra battery units from another model with DELTA mini?

DELTA mini doesn’t support extra battery units.

Will it back up my house during a power outage?

DELTA mini’s battery capacity is best suited for backing up only a few appliances during a blackout such as fridges, personal medical devices, and the comforts of home.

Can I use it as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)?

DELTA mini can be used as an emergency power supply (EPS), which has the same result as a UPS for most electronics. Here’s the difference: When your DELTA mini is plugged into the wall, any electronics plugged into it get power from the grid, not its battery. When power from the grid stops, it switches to battery supply mode within 30 milliseconds. During that time, sensitive electronics like desktop computers and data servers may turn off, but most devices will run as normal.
