Can other brands of solar panels charge River series(Not River Mini)?

RIVER series supports Solar to XT60 connection for most solar panels. We recommend that you use the solar panels with 200W max charging power, 10-25V input, and DC 10A max current.

Why is the power station charging slowly? How can I solve this?

1. If the temperature is too high, turn off the unit or stop the load, this will let it cool down. 2. If the temperature is too low for charging, place the unit somewhere warmer or let electrical appliances discharge it for a while. 3. The charging power of the unit is related to the battery level. When the unit starts charging from 0% or is about to be fully charged, it is normal that the charging power is low.

Why won't my RIVER charge at all?

1. The charging temperature may be too high. If you used high-power electrical appliances for extended periods, don’t use the power station for a while to allow the temperature to drop. 2. The charging temperature may be too low. If the outside temperature is too low or the temperature of the battery cell is lower than 0°C, place the power station somewhere warmer. 3. The charging voltage or current may be too low. Charge the device according to the rated charging voltage and current. 4. Change the charging method or the cable. If the solar panel has no input and the car charger has input, it means that the solar panel or solar charging cable is broken. Try to replace the solar charging cable or solar panel. 5. If none of the above methods work, provide a video explaining the fault and contact support.eu@ecoflow.com

Why is my solar panel not working?

1. The solar panel must be placed outdoors for use. If placed indoors, it won't work. 2. Check if there is any error prompt on the LCD Screen of your power station. If there is, follow the prompt to solve the problem. 3. Check the connection status by removing and reconnecting it. 4. Only solar panels with 10-25V input and DC 10A max current can be connected in parallel. Check if the voltage and current of the connected solar panels is within the range and whether the positive and negative poles are connected reversely. 5. If you are using a third-party connection cable, the cable length should not exceed 3 m. If it is longer than 3 m, you can change it to one with a diameter of 6.5 mm and a wire diameter of 4 mm². Otherwise, the charging won't work. 6. Check if you can charge the unit with the car charger. If it works, it means that the solar panel has connection issues or other problems. If the car charger doesn't work either, please record a video and send it to support.eu@ecoflow.com for troubleshooting.

Can I connect solar panels in series / parallel?

1. Up to 2 sets of 110W EcoFlow solar panels can be connected in parallel. Series connection is not supported. For parallel connection, you need to buy the Solar Parallel Connection Cable separately. 2. Third-party solar panels of the same wattage lower than 110W, 10-25V input, and DC 10A max current can be connected in parallel. According to the specifications, they may be able to support both parallel connection and series connection. However, we don’t recommend that you connect solar panels of different wattages at the same time.

Why does the car charging port not output any power?

1. Confirm whether the DC switch is turned on, and the DC switch will light up to indicate it is on. 2. Try to replace the head of the charger to see whether the cable is faulty 3. If none of the above methods work, provide a video explaining the fault and contact support.eu@ecoflow.com

Why is the car charger not working?

1. Please confirm whether the car cigarette lighter has normal voltage and power output. 2. Try using a solar panel to charge the power station. If the solar panel can be used to charge, it means that there is a problem with the car charger to XT60 cable. Change the cable, and if the solar panel still cannot be used to charge, then contact support.eu@ecoflow.com

Why is my RIVER Pro automatically shutting down?

My RIVER Pro won't turn on, what should I do?

"1. Check if it is caused by insufficient battery. If it is, charge and turn it on again. If the charging fails, please follow the instructions on charging failures as seen in the previous question. 2. If there is no response after you short press or long press (3 seconds) the Main Power Button, please contact support.eu@ecoflow.com"

Why wont my RIVER Pro charge my appliances/devices?

1. If it is charging from an AC outlet, confirm that the AC switch is turned on. The same goes for DC outlets. 2. If the AC or DC switch is turned on, and it still cannot be charged, please confirm whether the output power of the power station meets the wattage requirements of your device 3. When the power from a DC source and car charger is less than 1 watt, the charging power will not be displayed. 4. When the screen displays an overload alarm, it means that the charging power is too high. Please shut down and cool down for a while or try using a low-power device, then try charging again (for example, shut down and cool the power station for 30 minutes and restart, if there is still an overload prompt, please provide a screenshot or video and contact support.eu@ecoflow.com 5. The AC switch will turn off after 12 hours if the power of the electrical appliance is less than 10W because the power detection is equivalent to having no power output. At this time, the switch needs to be turned on again.

Why won't my RIVER Pro charge all the way to 100%?

1. Make sure that the battery setting function in the app is set to 100%. You can set this in the app. 2. Perform SoC calibration three times by fully discharging and charging the battery..

How do I charge the battery of my car with RIVER Pro? (Excluding electric vehicles)

When the car is out of power, you can use a dedicated jumper cable to charge the car battery. The charging time is about 15-20 minutes. Can I use other products to charge RIVER Pro?

Apart from the home grid, car charger, and solar panel, you can also charge RIVER Pro with a generator or inverter as long as it can provide 220-240V (50Hz/60Hz) AC power, and it should be a pure sine wave. While charging RIVER Pro, you should ensure that the AC input power is higher than 800W. If slow charging is enabled, ensure that the input power is higher than 140W.

What does the EPS function mean for RIVER Pro?

It means it can act as an emergency power supply (EPS). When your unit is plugged into the wall, anything plugged into it gets power from the grid, not its battery. If power from the grid stops, the unit automatically switches to its battery supply mode within 30 milliseconds. That means anything connected will not have power for 30 milliseconds. Desktop computers and data servers will turn off in this 30ms window. It is recommended that only one device is plugged in to avoid overloading.

How does the extra battery charge / discharge in relation to the main unit?

1. When charging or discharging, it charges/discharges the one with low voltage first, then the battery itself (device) and then it charges/discharges the extra battery and main unit at the same time.

What battery chemistry and cell type does RIVER Pro have?

The battery types are: Cylindrical 18650, NCM batteries, 10 parallel 8 series, 80 batteries total.

What is the standard cable for the car charger port?

The XT60 outlet for the car charger is a standard interface. Customers can use the included 1.5m car charging cable or their own car charging cable.
