    How to Connect the RIVER Pro Extra Battery to the RIVER Pro


      1. Power off BOTH the RIVER Pro and RIVER Pro Extra Battery before attempting to connect them together. 2. Open the Power Expansion Port cover on RIVER Pro to access the Power Expansion Port. Connect the Expansion Power Cable to the RIVER Pro Expansion Power Port. Tighten the screws on the Expansion Power port securely. 3. Open the Expansion Port Cover of the RIVER Pro Extra Battery to access the Expansion Power Port. Connect the free end of the Expansion Power Cable to the RIVER Pro Extra Battery Power Expansion Port. Tighten the screws on the Expansion Power port securely. 4. Turn on the power button of the RIVER Pro or RIVER Pro Extra Battery. Fully charge the devices for the first time and ensure the voltage is consistent to maximize the performance. If the display of the RIVER Pro shows the Extra Battery Icon, the connection is successful.

    Q: Does this work with the River Max?

    A: No, it doesn't.

     

    Q: Does this back-up battery work with a Delta Power Pack?

    A: EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery is designed to work with EcoFlow RIVER Pro only. If you want to expand capacity for your DELTA, you may consider to connect several DELTAs in series mode - expand capacity by connecting at most 3 DELTAs. This way you will get capacity of 3780Wh (3 x 1260Wh). Please refer to the EcoFlow DELTA user manual for more detailed instructions.

     

    Q: What is the charge time of the EcoFlow River Pro with the extra battery attached to charge both to 100% when plugged into the wall and with 200 watts of Solar?

    A: RIVER Pro + RIVER Pro extra battery can be recharged via AC input within 3 hours. 
    As for solar charging, we haven't tested it using 200W solar panel but we did test it using 160W solar panel and 110W solar panels. We used 1 set of 160W solar panel and it was able to charge RIVER Pro + RIVER Pro extra battery within 12-24 hrs. And when we used 2 sets of 110W solar panels connected in parallel, they were able to charge RIVER Pro + RIVER Pro extra battery within 8-16 hrs. 

     

    Q: If I run down the River Pro MAIN UNIT to 50%, and then connect a fully charged EXTRA battery... What happens? Does it continue to discharge from 50% on the main battery and 100% from the extra, or does the extra begin to charge the main?

    A: When connecting the unit to the extra batter, the one with the higher SOC gets discharged first and the one with the lower SOC gets charged first. And when they are both at the same SOC level they discharge and charge together.
    For example if the unit is at 50% and the extra battery is at 100%, first the battery will discharge to power the devices till it reaches 50%, then they will both discharge together to power the devices.

     

    Q: Can I charge the extra battery not connected to the eco river pro?

    A: No, you can't. The extra battery has to be connected to the power station.

     

    Q: So if you buy the extra battery with the RiverPro, does that also double the continuous wattage ? It onlt says it doubles the watt hours

    A: It only doubles the capacity (Wh), but the wattage will stay the same.

     

    Q: is there a longer cable or extension cable available?

    A: Currently only EcoFlow AC Charging Cable is available and it's 1.5m

    Most of our products have an over 12-month warranty.     Cancellation

    Customers can request a full refund within 24 hours after placing an order on ebikehaul.com. Please note that we will charge a transaction fee if you apply for the refund after 24 hours and before delivery (2.6% for credit card users, 3.6% for PayPal users, 3.5% for Affirm users). Orders purchased after 30 days could not be canceled.

    Return

    The return service is currently available to US orders only. If you want to return the product, please pick up the package first. To avoid paying high, please note that a double shipping fee may be deducted from the final return if you directly reject the products.

      power stations have various conditions that prompt the fan to start running of
      fan operation, for RIVER series, you can set that manually in the app, or set
      it to always be on. For DELTA (1300), the fan will turn on when the internal
      temperature is greater than 45°C.

      AC output port; - You should disconnect the circuits from the grid before they

      recommend connecting 2 same units in series at most. Furthermore, please also
      note: 1. The slave unit must be fully charged before being connected. 2. Must

      Yes,power station supports charging and discharging when charging in vehicles, portable solar panel, etc. However, when the battery of the machine is low or is about to run out, it is best not to output while connecting to DC charging (solar/vehicle charging); at this time, if the input of the power is less than or equal to the output power, the device will continue to consume power, which may result in power loss and eventually damage the battery.

      1. To prolong the battery life, we recommend that you use and store the product in an environment of 20°C to 30°C, away from water, heat, and metal objects.

      2. For long-term storage, discharge the product down to 30% and then charge it up to 60%. Continue to follow this procedure every 3 months. Units that are not charged and discharged for more than 6 months will no longer be covered under warranty.

      3. For safety reasons, please do not store this product in an environment above 45°C or below -10°C over a long period.

      1. Please check if there are external high-power electrical appliances. If the power of the connected electrical appliance is about the same as the battery capacity, the battery will run out in about 1 hour. 2. Perform a complete charge and discharge for an SoC calibration.

      1. The battery needs to be charged.

      2. If the AC and DC power buttons are turned off, without any input or output for 120 minutes, the product will automatically shut down.

      3. Check if you set a standby time on the app, which can be adjusted under System Standby.

      1. If it is charging from an AC outlet, confirm that the AC switch is turned on. The same goes for DC outlets.

      2. If the AC or DC switch is turned on, and it still cannot be charged, please confirm whether the output power of the power station meets the wattage requirements of your device

      3. When the power from a DC source and car charger is less than 1 watt, the charging power will not be displayed.

      4. When the screen displays an overload alarm, it means that the charging power is too high. Please shut down and cool down for a while or try using a low-power device, then try charging again (for example, shut down and cool the power station for 30 minutes and restart, if there is still an overload prompt, please provide a screenshot or video and contact support.eu@ecoflow.com 5. The AC switch will turn off after 12 hours if the power of the electrical appliance is less than 10W because the power detection is equivalent to having no power output. At this time, the switch needs to be turned on again.

      4. When the screen displays an overload alarm, it means that the charging power is too high. Please shut down and cool down for a while or try using a low-power device, then try charging again (for example, shut down and cool the power station for 30 minutes and restart, if there is still an overload prompt, please provide a screenshot or video and contact support.eu@ecoflow.com

      5. The AC switch will turn off after 12 hours if the power of the electrical appliance is less than 10W because the power detection is equivalent to having no power output. At this time, the switch needs to be turned on again.

      1. Make sure that the battery setting function in the app is set to 100%. You can set this in the app.

      2. Perform SoC calibration three times by fully discharging and charging the battery.

      When the car is out of power, you can use a dedicated jumper cable to charge the car battery. The charging time is about 15-20 minutes. Customers should use their own jumper cables, not sold by EcoFlow. (Not recommended by EcoFlow)(Note: When charging, do not start the car, otherwise it will cause the battery to malfunction)

      Apart from the home grid, car charger, and solar panel, you can also charge RIVER Pro with a generator or inverter as long as it can provide 220-240V (50Hz/60Hz) AC power, and it should be a pure sine wave. While charging RIVER Pro, you should ensure that the AC input power is higher than 800W. If slow charging is enabled, ensure that the input power is higher than 140W.

      It means it can act as an emergency power supply (EPS). When your unit is plugged into the wall, anything plugged into it gets power from the grid, not its battery. If power from the grid stops, the unit automatically switches to its battery supply mode within 30 milliseconds. That means anything connected will not have power for 30 milliseconds. Desktop computers and data servers will turn off in this 30ms window. It is recommended that only one device is plugged in to avoid overloading.

      1. When charging or discharging, it charges/discharges the one with low voltage first, then the battery itself (device) and then it charges/discharges the extra battery and main unit at the same time.

      1. Press IOT Button again to try reconnecting with power station.

      2. Use another phone hotpot as a router. If you can connect the device to the hotspot network, it means that your router Wi-Fi is not 2.4 GHz. In this case, you can modify the router setting

      When it’s charging, the remaining charging time will be shown on the LCD Screen. Meanwhile, the charging indicator icon begins to rotate with the remaining battery percentage and the input power shown on the right of the circle.

      The charging time is shown on the product’s LCD Screen, which can be used to estimate the charging time of most appliances with stable power usage.

      1. Please use or store the product in an environment temperature between 20°C to 30°C, away from water, heat, and other metal objects.

      2. For long-term storage, please discharge the battery to 30% and recharge it to 60% every three months; products that have not been charged and discharged for more than 6 months will not be covered by the free product warranty.

      3. For safety, please do not store the product in an environment temperature higher than 45°C or lower than -10°C for a long time.

      4. To prolong the battery life, please use the product in an environment temperature between 20°C to 30°C.

      Different power stations have various conditions that prompt the fan to start running of fan operation, for RIVER series, you can set that manually in the app, or set it to always be on. For DELTA (1300), the fan will turn on when the internal temperature is greater than 45°C.
