100μs Rapid Shutdown (RSD): Ultra-Fast Safety Response exceeding NEC Standards.

Instant peace of mind. In an anomaly, the system shuts down in 100 microseconds. That’s 300,000 times faster than the strictest safety codes require.

FAQ

Is the Mango Power S Pro microinverter certified?

Yes, the MANGO POWER S series microinverters certified meet CA Rule 21(UL 1741-SA), IEEE 1547:2018(UL 1741-SB) and CSA C22.2

Does the microinverter comply with the U.S. NEC?

The system architecture aligns with NEC safety principles, including:

  • Low-voltage DC operation
  • Rapid Shutdown functionality
  • Component-level grid connection
  • Anti-islanding protection

Local permitting or notification requirements depend on your Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

What is the warranty period for the microinverter?

Our Mango Power S Pro microinverter products come with an ultra-long 25-year warranty, providing solid protection for your long-term usage rights.

What is the conversion efficiency of the Mango Power S Pro microinverter?

Does it affect power generation? The CEC conversion efficiency of the Mango Power S microinverter is as high as 97%. Conversion efficiency directly determines the power generation: for every 1% increase in efficiency, the annual power generation can increase by about 0.8%. At the same time, it is equipped with an independent MPPT tracking function (tracking efficiency ≥99.9%), which can avoid the power generation loss of the entire system when a single solar panel is shaded. Compared with string inverters, the power generation can be increased by 5%-15%, which is especially suitable for roof installation scenarios with multiple shading and multiple orientations in the US.

How should I choose a suitable solar panel?

It depends on the open-circuit voltage of the solar panel. The MPPT voltage range (V) of the microinverter is 16-60V.

What is the DC/AC ratio of Mango Power S Pro microinverters?

We recommend that the ratio be between 1.2 and 1.5 depending on your solar project.

Why does the microinverter use a plastic enclosure instead of metal?

The low-voltage single-stage architecture enables the use of a high-performance plastic enclosure that offers:

  • Natural electrical insulation
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Reduced weight
  • Improved suitability for plug-in residential environments

This is a design choice based on safety and durability, not cost reduction.

Is the microinverter waterproof and dustproof?

Yes. The system has an IP68 outdoor rating for high stability and reliability. It uses weather-resistant composite housing and full potting sealing technology to achieve true IP68 protection. In simple terms, it can operate normally even when submerged in water.

Can it be used when there is a power outage at home?

Since the microinverter is a grid-tie product, it will not be able to supply power to the home during a power outage. If your home is equipped with an ESS (Energy Storage System), it can continue to operate even during a power outage.

Does the microinverter need grounding?

No. The microinverter case uses high-insulation material with electrical isolation and active monitoring, ensuring safe isolation between accessible parts and internal circuits. No extra grounding is required.

Can I expand the system in the future?

Yes. Each panel and microinverter operates independently, allowing modular expansion without affecting existing units.
